Happy Birthday, Ziggy! Goodness me, a whole 2 years of licks and wags. Now certainly fireworks are the ideal way to celebrate our little pup's big day. Have fun, folks.

The ultimate faceoff. Of course, once Zig realized his feline friend wasn't up for a chase, he quickly lost interest. The cat (Crookshanks) really couldn't have cared less. -- More pictures at http://photobucket.com/chrisandziggy
The ferocious Canis Tyranis attacks its prey. (Notice the adorable butt-in-air stance). -- More pictures at http://photobucket.com/chrisandziggy
My god, did I never post this picture? What was I thinking? -- Sit tight, my friends. I will get around to posting my backlog of ZigPics as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
I am at work, and just received this in an email. It made my day, so I thought I'd share it with you.
Here's a photo from the vault. -- Just so I don't forget, these are some snippets of what has been going on in the world of Chris&Ziggy: Raw Turkey Necks, Baths, Cross-Species Encounters, Costumes, and other such adventures. -- Stay Tuned.
Chris & Ziggy is(are?) back! I was having issues logging in, but all that is fixed now. -- Stay tuned for a bunch of photos soon.
Well yesterday was surely an adventure. Ziggy's mum and I attempted to teach him how to swim in the tub. A slight success, followed by the bathing of one of Zig's feline siblings. The entire endeavor was quite comical, and neither critter seemed to mind too terribly much. -- More pictures soon.
Well as I'm sure you must have deduced by now, Ziggy has gone back home with his mum. Luckily, I'm staying the night there this evening (perhaps I'll have a new story when I return). -- This page will stay up for the next time(s) that I take care of Zig, or for the occasional story/photo update. -- Thanks for reading, -Chris and Ziggy
This morning I noticed that Zig pretty much has a full, morning yoga routine. His "I just woke up" stretches are absolutely adorable. Not much happened today. Just another adventure at work. Our adoption cat and Ziggy did play a bit though. She kept trying to hunt him but would chicken out at the last second. I fear I am growing more and more attached to the little guy every day. (Sorry for the somewhat blurry photo).
Today wasn't all too exciting. Ziggy and I just watched bad movies with a good friend. It was lovely. He spent most of the day recuperating from all the activity as of late. Alas, tomorrow it is off to work for the both of us.
Despite it being my day off, Ziggy and I ventured to work again today (at the request of a coworker who hadn't had the pleasure of meeting Zig). I was quite pleased when Ziggy actually WALKED with me (almost) the entire way there! His surprise appearance was greatly celebrated. He made his rounds and we headed out. Jesus, having a dog is a lot of work. Not taking care of the dog, but having EVERYBODY stop me to announce how adorable he is. It gets time-consuming. -- On another note: While this site was made to keep Ziggy's mom updated while she's away, we seem to have gained a large amount of unanticipated viewers. So hello, all. -- Ziggy and I are now sitting at the computer and listening to Dianogah, while buying Polaroid film on ebay. He seems content.
Oh boy, am I a bad father, or what? Today I decided it was in Ziggy's best interest for him to wear a lovely summer dress. Although unaware of his gender-bending, the little guy still seemed a tad put off. Perhaps it's just not his style. I also noticed Zig's odd habit in regards to other dogs. The chap waltzes right up, and proceeds to lick their junk; regardless of gender or size (he almost got sat on, at one point). It doesn't matter if he looks like a chew toy to the other dog. He goes for it, no fear. By about 6:30 he was totally exhausted; his little eyelids drooping and his chin on my shoulder. Quite the adorable sight. -- In other news, the site got deleted through some odd glitch, and therefore if you are reading this, we have fixed that little problem (and it is silly to even mention it). -- Later in the day, Zig and I met up with another good friend of ours. She showed the chap some love and he attempted to make up for her bad day. Hope it worked!
I woke up to a fluttering tail and big, puppy smile. It was a bit chilly today so I thought I'd have Zig wear his little shirt. I pulled it out and he raised his arms like an eager child. How cooperative! We had a big day ahead of us; it was Ziggy's first time at work! We packed up and headed out. After getting a feel for the place, Zig decided to take on the title of greeter-extraordinaire. Not a single soul walked through the store without getting a taste of either Zig's coy, hard-to-get routine or his adorable, love-puppy bit. At lunch, he dozed off in my lap for a bit. I'm so happy with the little chap! No barks, yelps, cowering, or any other sort of mishap! He even got some canned food (don't tell mom)! He fits right in. -- Later in the day, we met up with a friend and he put together the site you're currently viewing. (Thanks, JJ)! Zig was very particular about the color palette, and demanded multiple redesigns.
Tuesday was Ziggy's first night at my house. He was great, although Nykita (the cat) was mortified by his presence. He had some leftover salmon, got ready for bed, and went for a walk. I put him in his crate and got in bed. Of course he wouldn't have that, and scampered over, jumping into bed with me.
